Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
- Account info: email, hashed password, display name.
- Usage data: channel settings, videos created, scripts, voice selections, generated captions.
- Billing: subscription status and Stripe customer id. We do not store card numbers — Stripe does.
- Logs: basic request logs (IP address, timestamp, user-agent) for abuse prevention and debugging.
2. How we use it
We use your data to provide and improve the Service — generating scripts, rendering videos, billing, support, and security. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Third-party processors
Data is shared with the processors strictly necessary to run the Service:
- Supabase (authentication and database hosting)
- Stripe (payments)
- Cloudflare R2 (video storage and delivery)
- ElevenLabs (voice synthesis)
- AssemblyAI (speech-to-text for captions)
- Pexels (stock footage)
- OpenRouter (language model requests)
- Fly.io / Vercel (application hosting)
4. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your profile, channels, and generated videos within 30 days. Billing records may be retained longer where required by law.
5. Your rights
You can export or delete your data at any time by emailing support@getfaceless.app. If you are in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and portability. California residents have similar rights under the CCPA.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We restrict access to production systems to authorized staff. No system is perfectly secure — do not send us sensitive data you do not want stored.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session) and billing (Stripe). We do not use advertising cookies.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13 we will delete it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
